ESOMAR Extends Bretcha DG Role
Following the announcement on Friday of the imminent departure of CEO Parves Khan, ESOMAR says it will extend Joaquim Bretcha's interim tenure as Director General to September 2024, helping to provide continuity.
 The global research, insight and analytics association announced on Friday that Dr Khan will leave at the end of June, and will focus on charitable and non-exec work before taking up a new as-yet unannounced role.
ESOMAR says it is working on a 're-envisioning' of its role beyond the short term: including a Governance Review, a review of its strategy and value proposition and 'a stronger move to work collaboratively with an increased range of partners'. Bretcha will lead this process, to be completed over the next 12-months, alongside the ESOMAR Council.
