Vevo Hires for New Research and Marketing Role
Music video hosting and streaming service Vevo has appointed former Warner Bros. Discovery exec Julie Triolo in the new role of VP of Research and Marketing, based in New York.
Before her five years as VP Product Marketing at Warner Bros. Discovery Triolo (pictured) spent two years working at Activision Blizzard subsidiary King, the maker of video game Candy Crush; and six and a half in marketing roles in Yahoo's News, Finance and Tech divisions.
In her new role she reports to President of Sales and Distribution Kevin McGurn, and takes charge of Vevo's research and marketing initiatives, as well the implementation of a new strategic vision.
McGurn comments: 'This is a major moment for Vevo to land such an impressive media industry leader who brings a track record of launching products at the edge of innovation. The future of TV is data-driven, agile, dynamic and global, and her role will be pivotal for arming our sales team with even more insights.
