Whip Media Promotes Carol Hanley to CEO
Los Angeles-based data and analytics software provider Whip Media has promoted Carol Hanley to Chief Executive Officer, succeeding founder Richard Rosenblatt who has been named Executive Chair of the Board.
Whip Media - which was formed through the merger of TV and film tracking and insights platform TV Time and content value management platform Mediamorph - is an enterprise software platform and data provider for entertainment organizations. In 2020, the firm launched a real-time movie analytics solution called CVM Insights; and last year, it launched the Whip Media Exchange, a global licensing and research platform for film and TV content.
Hanley (pictured) joined TV Time six years ago as Chief Revenue Officer, and most recently served as Whip Media's co-President, alongside Rob Gardos, former CEO of Mediamorph. Prior to this, she was Chief Revenue Officer of Deluxe Entertainment Services, after more than fifteen years at Nielsen Audio (previously Arbitron), where she latterly served as EVP, Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer.
Rosenblatt comments: 'Carol is an experienced leader with a proven track record of driving revenue, customer satisfaction and innovation throughout our company. We share a common vision for Whip Media and I am excited to work closely with Carol as she leads the company into the future.'
