Solnet and Alation to Unlock NZ Enterprise Data
New Zealand-based business transformation tech firm Solnet has partnered with enterprise data intelligence provider Alation, to help local organisations across the government and private sectors unlock their data and shift to digital channels.
Alation's flagship Behavioral Analysis Engine (BAE) combines machine learning and popularity-driven relevancy rankings with human insight to tackle data and metadata management issues. The firm also runs custom reporting on user behavior to understand how data is being used and to enforce governance. Through the partnership, Solnet will help New Zealand-based organisations use their data for innovation, including cloud transformation, data governance, and self-service analytics.
According to the firms, Solnet's 100% local consulting and technical implementation team, combined with Alation's Data Intelligence Platform, improve customers' ability to identify and mitigate data-related risks while driving maximum value from their most important data assets.
Mark Botherway (pictured), MD of Solnet, comments: 'Often, data is scattered across the organisation, making it challenging to extract value and leaving risk for reputational harm, especially when it is unclear who is using and accessing data. We're here to advise our clients on how to best achieve their goals while leveraging the benefits of leading technology providers, such as Alation'.
