RealityMine Adds Nine to UK Team
Manchester, UK-based mobile device data firm RealityMine has made nine new appointments, including former BBC exec Mark Owen as Product Manager for its media content solutions.
 Established by Garry Partington and Rolfe Swinton in 2011, and with additional offices in London and Stockholm, RealityMine enables MR and media organisations to monitor real life consumer behaviour on multiple devices, across all major platforms. The firm's Data Marketplace enables clients to access digital behaviour data from real people via global, privacy-compliant datasets - including consumers' mobile search behaviour.
Owen (pictured) joins with more than fifteen years' experience of producing and leading teams in games, digital content and products. Most recently, he spent a decade at the BBC, where he latterly served as Digital Lead, managing the Children's Productions fourteen-strong team. Earlier, he was Online Games Manager at ITV, and he spent more than ten years at Nickelodeon UK, latterly leading the team responsible for the firm's digital services.
The firm has also hired Arran Ireland, Matthew Taylor and Ibrahim Alshamary as Software Engineers. Ireland joins from cybersecurity company Darktrace; Taylor has worked in e-Commerce, healthcare and travel, most recently at EV-Comply (now InstallHUB), helping maintain its application and job management system; and Alshamary joins from WM Reply, where he worked across industries such as banking, transport, automotive and energy.
Jack O'Brien has joined as a Sales Development Representative, after a sales development role at learning and development platform eloomi. Joining the Engineering team as Data Engineers are Russell Mclean, who studied electronic engineering; and Haaris Sheikh who previously worked at ITV; and Tolulope Adeoye joins as a Test Engineer, after serving as a Digital Q Tester at Vodafone. Finally, Sola Omoniyi has joined the Operational Excellence team as a Data Analyst, having previously been an Associate Data Analyst at AND Data.
