US Firm Echo Hires Four Including CSO

In the US, Echo Research has appointed Scott Epstein as Chief Strategy Officer, based in its Austin, Texas headquarters. Also joining the company are Monica Martinez, Todd Exler and Jana Rosewarne.

The firm employs around 45 analysts and its offer includes panels, communities and mock juries, as well as the 'Hivemind.Zone', which 'provides paid gig opportunities for people around the world to complete market research related tasks'. It also recently launched 'Spaces by Echo' which is billed as a 'non-traditional mixed-use creative space' available for a variety of research and other business uses.

Epstein has spent the last eleven years at NBCUniversal, the last six as Director, Global Creative and Marketing Strategy - and before this he spent two years as a publicity co-ordinator for The Walt Disney Company.

Also based in Austin, Martinez joins as Space Ops Assistant, supporting Spaces by Echo. She worked as a Teacher and Teaching Assistant at harmony Public Schools before joining AlertMedia three years ago - here she held roles including Business Operations Administrator and Customer Support Specialist.

Exler has spent four and a half years as an independent consultant, and before that was an SVP at GBH Insights in New York, where he now takes the role of SVP, Head of Strategic Insights & Analytics. Earlier he spent nearly a dozen years in Culver City, CA first at OTX and then Ipsos.

Rosewarne, who joins as a Research Associate based in Williamsburg, MA, holds a PhD from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and has spent the last four and a half years at Market Street Research as a Research Analyst and Senior Research Analyst.
