Launch of New Product Specialist 'Innovate Wisely'

In the US, four former execs of new product advisory service Top Box Associates have launched a research agency called Innovate Wisely, focused on new product development.

George Ciardi spent the previous twelve years as a Partner at Top Box Associates, before which he was Global Head of Volumetric Forecasting at SPA Future Thinking, and EVP at TNS. Ed Videira was VP of Operations at Top Box Associates for nearly a decade, having earlier served as Director, Forecasting & Client Service at TNS; Ken Sobel was President of Top Box Associates for nearly fourteen years, having previously served as SVP of Kantar Health / The Mattson Jack Group; and John Eberle was VP, Senior Forecasting Analyst at Top Box Associates, before which he was a Business Analyst at Daymon; Manager, Data Insights at Shareable Metrics; and VP / Director Innovation & Product Development at TNS.

The new company will provide analytics and estimation systems relating to the evaluation of new products, using consumer survey and behavioral data. The team will apply quant-based analytics via a suite of new product forecasting tools, designed to measure the potential sales impact of options at all stages of the process: concept screening, concept optimization, product optimization and launch.
