Curtis Rejoins Kantar to Lead Analytics Practice
In the UK, former Lifestream CEO Sam Curtis has returned to Kantar as Head of the Digital Analytics practice.
This practice focuses on making sense of big, unstructured search and social media datasets, in order to advise marketers on brand opportunities and consumer engagement. Curtis (pictured) joins after nearly four years at video data analytics marketplace Lifestream (formerly known as Big Sofa), before which he was Head of Client Strategy at mobile-based customer insights firm Streetbees, and MD of in-moment insight gatherer Moment10. Earlier he spent eleven years at Kantar, working in both global and local consumer insight roles including Global Data Lead.
In his new role, Curtis will use his experience of working with start-ups and growing software businesses to help Kantar drive its reach in sectors such as technology, healthcare and consumer goods. Commenting on the appointment Amy Cashman, Executive MD Kantar Insights division, UK & Ireland said: 'Sam knows how to develop technology-based businesses and it's great to welcome him back to the business as we expand our digital analytics offer for clients. Like us, he sees the importance of finding the human insight in the data'.
