MikMak Buys Shoppable Media and Brand Analytics Assets
In New York, eCommerce enablement and analytics software provider MikMak has acquired ChannelAdvisor's Shoppable Media and Brand Analytics products and team from transaction network CommerceHub. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Last year, eCommerce company ChannelAdvisor was acquired by CommerceHub, which provides cloud-based eCommerce solutions. Through the latest acquisition, MikMak strengthens its own commerce insights, while giving its professional services and customer support team additional resources. The deal also marks the start of a partnership between MikMak and CommerceHub, which operates a commerce network comprising 40,000 retailers and brands.
MikMak says the move will give platform users access to even richer data and a larger retail network. Bryan Dove, CEO of CommerceHub, says his firm has had 'incredible success' providing commerce insights to customers through the Shoppable Media and Brand Analytics products, which will be a 'great fit' for customers of CommerceHub and MikMak once added to the latter's roster.
Rachel Tipograph (pictured), founder and CEO of MikMak, adds: 'To thrive in today's market, brands need deeper global commerce insights with more advanced tools to measure and monitor success. Our aggressive roadmap helps solidify our market position as a global leader in eCommerce enablement and analytics. The addition of ChannelAdvisor's Shoppable Media and Brand Analytics client roster, technology and team further expands our capabilities to position our brand partners for long-term success in a constantly evolving and dynamic landscape'.
