Potentia Hires Former BVA Group Exec as IT Director

In the UK, digital market research agency Potentia Insight has appointed former BVA Group exec Greg Berry as its first IT Director.

Launched in February by Suzy Hassan and Colin Clifford, former directors of BDRC-owned Alligator Digital, Potentia offers a range of digital solutions including customer surveys, online panels and communities. Last month the company acquired boutique analytics specialist SigDiff, to enhance its data science capabilities and increase its capacity to fulfil upcoming data analytics projects.

Berry (pictured), who previously served as Technology Director at BDRC Continental and Chief Information Security Officer at BVA Group, joins with a background in data collection technology, project management, and analysis for MR projects of all sizes. His experience includes tech-driven project elements, IT management, and data protection officer responsibilities. In previous roles he has been central to obtaining ISO20252 and ISO27001 certifications and has had responsibility for GDPR.

In addition, Berry is a member of the MRS Fair Data Accreditation Board. Clifford comments: 'Having worked with Greg for eight years, I'm thrilled to have him on the Potentia team.
