NBCUniversal Hires Friend for SVP Insights Role
Former MarketCast and Netflix researcher Zoë Friend has joined broadcaster NBCUniversal as EVP of Consumer Insights.
Starting on September 6th, Friend reports to EVP & Chief Data Officer Will Gonzalez, who leads the media giant's integrated Research and Decision Sciences division. She worked previously for nearly three years at MarketCast, initially as Head of Custom Research and then as Head of Content Insights, working on content development for films and series on behalf of streaming companies. Earlier she spent five years as VP, Consumer Insights at Netflix, building the company's content and marketing research team; and before that she worked as SVP Research and Strategy at Paramount and as MD of London-based specialist research provider First Movies.
