Two New Ad Impact Measures from Reddit
US-based online news aggregation, content rating and discussion web site Reddit has launched two new tools to help advertisers measure campaign performance: Reddit Brand Lift and Reddit Conversion Lift.
Brand Lift employs a randomized controlled survey overseen by the firm's in-house Marketing Science team, and examining both the campaign's design / content and its objectives, to assess the incremental effect of ads on the platform on brand perception.
Conversion Lift analyzes the next steps taken by users after seeing the ads, using the Reddit Pixel, Conversions API and/or Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP) integrations to measure metrics such as app installs, leads, additions to shopping carts and actual purchases.
The tools are available now to all the company's managed advertisers based in Canada and the USA, the UK, Germany and Australia. EVP of Business Marketing and Growth Jim Squires comments: 'Through Reddit Brand Lift and Reddit Conversion Lift, we're proving what we've long known to be true: that advertising on Reddit is highly measurable and highly effective, and when paired with our comprehensive suite of third-party measurement tools, our advertisers have access to holistic insights that support their investment on Reddit'.
The firm, which a year ago acquired audience insights, brand intelligence and contextual ad targeting specialist Spiketrap, is online at www.reddit.com .
