Podchaser Debuts Podcast Audience Targeting Capability
In the US, podcast database Podchaser has launched a predictive language modeling capability, allowing advertisers to refine their podcast audience targeting initiatives.
Owned by podcast company Acast. Podchaser collects, enriches and distributes podcast insights. Its Podchaser Pro solution offers access to audience size, demographics, verified contacts, charts and data. Earlier this year the firm launched Collections+, helping users enhance their targeting capabilities and discover new podcasts that reach their target audiences.
The new modeling capability uses predictive demographics and AI (as opposed to first-party data) to analyze the language spoken within a podcast, and predict the age and gender of its likely audience. Predictive demographics supply advertisers with demographic data for more than five million podcasts around the world.
Acast CEO Ross Adams (pictured) comments: 'With predictive demographics, we're making it possible for advertisers to unlock value from podcasts through an audience-first approach and to ultimately discover podcasts with untapped advertising potential'.
