Social Researcher M.E.L Hires Evaluation Practice Head
In the UK, social research and behaviour change specialist M.E.L Research has appointed former Citizens Advice exec Skye Curtis as Head of Evaluation. As well as leading the Evaluation practice, Curtis will serve on the firm's Ethics Board.
M.E.L is a full service social research agency aiming 'to make a positive difference to organisations, employees, customers and wider society' and with a strong focus on improving public services. Curtis (pictured) most recently served as Evaluation Lead at Citizens Advice, where she worked for nearly five years, including evaluations of food bank support, debt advice, energy support and advice, and benefit advice. Prior to this she worked for public policy evaluation firm Ecorys as Research Manager, having begun her career at Cancer Research. During her career, Curtis has led and delivered large-scale research and evaluation projects, with her work centered on informing service improvements and policy change.
