AudienceProject Hires Nielsen Man to Drive UK Expansion
In London, audience measurement solutions firm AudienceProject has appointed former Nielsen exec Paul Barnard as Managing Director for the UK.
Barnard will work closely with UK Commercial Director Martyn Bentley to accelerate growth in the UK, offering 'independent and comprehensive' cross-media measurement. The company also operates in Germany, France and the Nordics, and says it plans to enter more European markets in the coming year. In 2020, the Danish firm replaced Comscore as the official partner for Media Metrics Finland, the measurement body for the country's web sites and apps.
Barnard brings more than two decades of experience in the advertising industry, and joins from Nielsen where he spent eight years, including time at subsidiary firm VisualDNA. At Nielsen itself he worked in roles including Head Of Media - Nielsen Marketing Cloud, Country Lead Northern Europe and VP of Sales.
