MMR Hires Kantar Exec as Global Innovation Director
Consumer and sensory research agency MMR has appointed long-time Kantar exec Ansie Collier as Global Innovation Director, working remotely from South Africa.
MMR applies research tools - many tailored to suit individual client needs - to amplify brand messaging, creating greater impact in store and more engaging experiences for consumers. In addition to its offices in the UK, the firm operates in the USA, China, Brazil, Singapore, India, Thailand, Colombia, South Africa and the Netherlands.
Collier (pictured) joins after eighteen years at Kantar, latterly as Global Director of iLab, Kantar's 'innovation ecosystem', which uses AI, advanced analytics and big data. Earlier she was Senior Global Innovation Director, developing and commercialising products at the 'intersection' of data, tech and human understanding; and leading cross-functional teams to create products using conversational AI. She began her MR career as Director of Innovation at Kantar TNS in Cape Town.
In her new role, Collier will build on MMR's integration of chatbot technology into quant research, to engage hard-to-reach audiences like Gen Z through their mobile connections. Global MD Matthew Lintern comments: 'We are thrilled to welcome Ansie to our team. Her infectious positivity and innovative spirit will be the driving force behind applying our principles and leveraging AI in our heartland sensory space'.
