Olinger CEO Steps Down, Replaced by Michael Vasquez
Jude Olinger, CEO of US research firm the Olinger Group has announced that after three decades he will step down from his role to 'pursue a new opportunity' outside the MR industry. Michael Vasquez, who joined in 2022 as EVP of Client Solutions, is taking over the CEO role.
Founded by Olinger in 1994, the group offers qual and quant customer and employee satisfaction studies, as well as other consumer projects. In addition to its succession planning announcement, Olinger has promoted Chanttel Allen to Chief Operating Officer, after 23 years with the group; and Meg Scott has joined the Executive Leadership Team as Director of Research Operations, after fifteen years with the business.
Olinger will continue to work with the company over the coming months to ensure a smooth handover to Vasquez, who brings more than two decades' of leadership and MR experience to the company. In a statement, Olinger said: 'I have complete trust in Michael and our executive leadership team. They possess a well-demonstrated background in industry leadership, a history of strategic accomplishments, and are the ideal group to carry forward The Olinger Group's commitment. My choice to step down as CEO was a difficult one, but it is the appropriate moment for this change. I have had the privilege and honor of guiding this team, and now I am prepared to allow them to author our next phase'.
