Rep Data Hires CFO and VP of Sales

In the US, full-service data collection and fraud prevention solutions firm Rep Data has appointed Karen Gardner as Chief Financial Officer, while Riley Croft joins as Vice President of Sales.

New Orleans-based Rep Data carries out data collection for primary quantitative research studies for clients including MR and PR agencies, management consultancies, corporations, ad agencies and brand strategy consultants. Last month the company acquired data quality and anti-fraud software platform Research Defender (previously known as SampleChain).

Gardner, based in New York, was most recently CFO at business education startup Section, before which she held the same role at Pollfish, which was taken over by Prodege last year; and VP of Finance at L2, a business intelligence platform that was later acquired by Gartner.

Croft (pictured), based in Rep Data's New Orleans HQ, joins with more than fifteen years in sales ranging from direct marketing to enterprise SaaS. Within marketing research, he had previously launched the partner sales function at Lucid. In his new role, Croft will focus on Rep Data's suite of software products.
