Leimann Resumes Role as MD of Norstat Germany
European data collection specialist Norstat has reappointed Marc Leimann as its new Managing Director in Germany, starting January 1st. He previously held the role from 2015 to 2020.
Leimann succeeds Sebastian Sorger who leaves the firm after nearly four years leading its operations in the country, as well as leading its Austrian launch in 2021. Sorger will assume an as-yet unannounced role in the tech and business services industry.
Since leaving Norstat for the first time, Leimann has worked as Managing Director at ATP Autoteile, an e-commerce company specializing in automotive spare parts; and as CEO of Talk Online Panel. Earlier in his career he worked in consulting, building and managing digital companies in sectors including travel, automotive, newsletter marketing and publishing.
According to Pål Listuen, Regional Director for Norstat South, Germany is one of the company's key growth markets, 'offering significant opportunities as one of the largest worldwide markets for research'. He continues: 'Sebastian Sorger has achieved excellent results as the Managing Director and we thank him for that and wish him good luck in his next role. We are confident that Marc's industry background and experience will further strengthen Norstat's position and ambition to be the foremost data collection provider for both quantitative and qualitative research in Germany. It is with great pleasure that we welcome Marc back to Norstat'.
