Healthcare Specialist Apollo Hires CFO
Healthcare and life science insights firm Apollo Intelligence has appointed Susan J. Young as Chief Financial Officer.
Apollo was formed in 2020 when investment firm Saroras Private Capital, already the owner of sector specialist researcher InCrowd, acquired data collection company SurveyHealthcareGlobus. The two companies are part of Apollo which itself is now a portfolio company of Frazier Healthcare Partners and employs more than 250 people. Clients gain access to 2 million healthcare stakeholders worldwide - including physicians, patients, caregivers, and allied healthcare professionals.
Young joins from PlayOn! Sports, a portfolio company of insight investor KKR, where as CFO she helped establish the finance organization, financial reporting and M&A activities. Earlier she held CFO roles at Q2 Solutions (now part of IQVIA), Terra Dotta, MarVista Entertainment and Explorica, after working at Kodak, Xerox and Stryker. Her experience covers life sciences, biotech, medical devices and SaaS software industries, among others, and she has held posts in Europe and managed teams and entities in the UK, Canada, Mexico, China, Singapore and India. An avid traveler who has visited all seven continents and all 50 US states, she holds an MBA from Syracuse University and a BS in finance from Clarkson University.
