New Senior Partner for J.D. Power

J.D. Power and Associates has appointed Steve Carroll, formerly of ACNielsen, as a senior partner and Executive VP of Client Services. Carroll will oversee all US practice areas and will report to Steve Goodall, President and CEO.

Carroll will take charge of development, sales, service and financial results for US automotive, finance and insurance, healthcare and several other service industries.

He spent 10 years with ACNielsen as Senior VP of US manufacturer client services, responsible for overseeing all facets of the sales and delivery of more than $500 million in syndicated research, proprietary research and consulting services for a number of major companies. He was also responsible for the creation of ACNielsen's new business development team.

Carroll earned an MBA from the University of Illinois-Urbana and undergraduate degrees in political science and philosophy from Illinois State University.
