Nielsen Aus Debuts eTAM VOZ VSB Reporting Platform
In Australia, Nielsen has rolled out a reporting platform for the country's new 'VOZ' cross-media audience measurement solution, based on the company's established eTAM software.
VOZ (Virtual Australia) is an all-screen Total TV viewing and campaign performance solution using an integrated database and set to provide Australia's reporting standard and trading currency from early next year. Last week its developer, ad currency body OzTAM, said the new service was entering the final phase of a process first announced more than five years ago.
Nielsen's new eTAM VOZ Visual Schedule Builder (VSB) promises 'a fully flexible reporting platform' for the new reporting standard, helping the Australian television industry to improve its measurement and evaluation of viewing audiences. The company says the system is fully accredited for Reach and Frequency data across Metropolitan Broadcast via the industry-endorsed OzTAM Gold Standard, with national accreditation expected soon. Users will be able to conduct 'comprehensive' National Broadcast campaign analysis as well as viewing spot-level analysis.
Nielsen TAM MD Alicia Olson-Keating says of the launch, 'Through our dynamic and flexible interface Nielsen clients will be able to carry out comprehensive National Broadcast campaign analysis and eTAM VOZ VSB's report feature will also deliver spot-level analysis, which is crucial for the delivery of comprehensive and accurate campaign Reach and Frequency insights. VSB is fully flexible reporting, which is a feature where we are able to lead and develop a unique proposition in the market'. She adds: 'Our subscribing advertisers, broadcasters, and clients can now access this accredited and industry-approved solution, which moves the whole industry another step closer to the holy grail of a single measurement standard for total TV and cross-platform measurement'.
