New York-based digital video ad and analytics platform Innovid has appointed Dani Cushion as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). She is based in Atlanta and will report to Chief Commercial Officer Dave Helmreich.
Innovid offers advertising delivery, personalization and measurement across linear, connected TV (CTV) and digital for major brands worldwide, including always-on intelligence to optimize advertising investments across channels, platforms, screens and devices. In July it launched a cookieless cross-device solution called Innovid Key, which maps consumer behavior without resorting to methods like browser fingerprinting; and in October it beat forecasts by reporting unaudited Q3 revenue of c. $36m.
Cushion joins with more than twenty years of marketing experience, from ed tech platform ExecOnline, where she was also CMO, and before this she held the same role at advertising and fintech platform Cardlytics, helping to position the company for a successful IPO and public company growth. She has also worked as SVP of Global Marketing and Communications at Millennial Media (acquired by AOL/Verizon Media), again helping with an IPO as well as international expansion and numerous acquisitions.
In her new role, Cushion will be responsible for leading Innovid's global marketing and communications, raising its market profile and driving significant company growth.
'As a long-time CMO of both public and private technology companies', says Helmreich, Dani is an expert at pioneering global marketing strategies that accelerate business results. Her passion for leading companies through rapid growth will be instrumental in helping us solidify Innovid's position as a strategic partner for the world's largest brands, agencies, and media partners as the TV ad industry continues to evolve'.
