Former Comscore Chairman Rosenthal to Leave Board
Comscore has announced that its Lead Director, Brent Rosenthal, non-executive Chairman until 2022, will retire from the Board and not stand for re-election this year. The firm plans to nominate CEO Jon Carpenter to join the Board in 2024.
Rosenthal (pictured) will step down at the 2024 annual meeting of stockholders. He has served Comscore and its affiliated companies for more than fifteen years, starting as a Rentrak Board member from 2008 to 2016, then Vice Chair in 2010 and non-executive Chairman from 2011 to 2016. Following the merger in 2016 he joined Comscore's Board of Directors and became non-executive Chairman there in 2018.
Board Chairman Nana Banerjee said: 'On behalf of the Board, I thank Brent for his many contributions to Comscore. As Chairman and now Lead Director, Brent has been a strong independent voice and pushed strategically and operationally to capitalize on the enormous cross-platform video consumption opportunity'.
Carpenter was appointed CEO in July 2022.
