Delineate Promotes for COO Role and Hires New CTO

Real-time brand tracking and campaign evaluation firm Delineate has appointed former Publicis Sapient exec James Betteley ('JB') as its new Chief Technology Officer. Former CTO James Stewart transitions to a newly created Chief Operating Officer role.

Delineate's real-time Proximity platform offers access to consumers in more than 130 countries, delivering real-time survey data via modern data tools, dashboards and APIs for insight teams, marketers, data science and big data analytics.

Publicis Sapient is the marcoms giant's digital transformation consulting company - Betteley spent five years at the division leading platform delivery for enterprise clients. In his new role he will focus on developing Delineate's engineering and product teams from its West Wales hub - including work on integrating Gen AI and Large Language Models into Proximity.

Stewart, who becomes COO, became CTO in June 2020, and previously held senior strategy and transformation roles in different sectors and will now lead the company's growth and investment initiatives across the globe.
