Savanta Hires PR Director

Brand and market research agency Savanta has appointed Richard Brooks as External Communications Director, strengthening its PR team with a UK General Election to be called this year.

Richard BrooksFormed five years ago by the merger of four MR agencies within its parent group Next 15, Savanta offers clients a full range of intelligence services including research and consulting; data collection and analysis, including access to 100 million respondents through a proprietary technology platform; and intelligence products including the BrandVue and MarketVue reputation tracking solutions. In the last six months it has expanded to Mexico, extended its Business Tracker to France and Germany, and acquired North American-based shopper insights agency Explorer Research. Polling firm ComRes was once of its first acquisitions in 2019.

Brooks joins from Portland Communications where he was a Senior Consultant, Corporate Communications in a client-facing role for just under four years. Prior to Portland he was head of communications for a Brexit 'Final Say Referendum' campaign group, and earlier was Vice President of the National Union of Students. In his new role he will co-ordinate Savanta's communications activity across the business, growing coverage for its political work as well as a range of other sectors in the UK, Americas, Europe and Asia.
