Razorfish Promotes for C-Suite Analytics Role

Veteran digital marketing firm Razorfish, a subsidiary of Publicis, has promoted Sisi Zhang to serve as its Chief Data and Analytics Officer, and hired Matt Lefever as COO.

Razorfish employs experts in strategy, creative, data and technology experts who it says 'combine digital innovation, data and cultural insights to help understand what people want at every part of the journey'. The firm says the two appointments 'signal a year focused on innovation, efficiency, and expertise in data and analytics'.

Zhang has helped steer and expand Razorfish's data and analytics capabilities over a dozen years, latterly responsible for a team of more than 150 data professionals.In her new role she will work to develop more robust data-driven offerings, implement standardization processes, upgrade data instrumentation capabilities to simplify client needs, and double down on the team's specialist skills and expertise.

Lefever rejoins the Publicis Group from AI and NLP start-up tellic where he has spent the last five years, and in total brings two decades of experience to the new role. He joined Sapient in 1999, and was part of its growth from 1,500 employees to more than 20,000.
