Circana Restructures Commercial Organisation
Consumer data giant Circana has announced changes to its commercial organisation including the appointment of former CPG sector President Jeremy Allen as Chief Commercial Officer. Tim Bush, currently President, General Merchandise, will retire by the end of the year after two decades at Circana and NPD.
Circana was chosen last March as the new name for recently merged companies IRI and The NPD Group.
The new commercial organisation comprises Global Client Verticals and Global Solutions Groups. In the former, Wei Lin Wong, previously leader of a number fo the firm's retail and strategy teams, is promoted to President, CPG; former Beauty, Sports, Apparel, Footwear, Accessories & Luxury verticals head Joanne Sackett becomes President, General Merchandise; and Rob Hill, most recently the Circana's President of Retail for North America, is now President, Global Retail.
Among Global Solution Groups, Brad Shelton, moves from the role of President of Collaborative Gateway Solutions to the new title of President, Retail and Manufacturer Collaboration; former EVP Consumer and Shopper Insights Patty Altman, takes the new role of President, Consumer and Shopper Insights and E-Commerce; and Amy Marentic continues as President, Media and Analytics Solutions.
Bush (pictured) will continue to support Circana by leading a handful of critical strategic initiatives throughout the remainder of his tenure. President and CEO Kirk Perry says, 'On behalf of our entire leadership team, I thank Tim for his outstanding service to our company and our clients throughout his esteemed career, and we wish him the best in his next chapter'.
Perry says the new structure will help the firm to serve clients across sectors and geographies.
