Consulting and CX Business Emtec becomes Bridgenext

Digital consulting, marketing and tech business Emtec is unifying its businesses and rebranding as Bridgenext. Its services include data, analytics and AI, as well as the creation and measurement of digital experiences.

The new brand includes what used to be Emtec, Emtec Digital, Wave6 and DEFINITION 6, and describes its mission as 'empowering clients to ... move past the hype of digital transformation to a future where they can achieve tangible outcomes from their tech investments'. This includes helping clients to capture and use their data more efficiently with intelligent automation and AI, and to create and optimize 'people-centered experiences and relationships that drive measurable engagement'.

John Castleman (pictured left), previously CEO of Mobiquity and Alliance Global Services, will lead the new company as CEO, replacing Sunil Misra (pictured right) who has been in the role since 2009 and will continue as Chairman of the Board. He swaps places with Castleman who joined at the time of an investment from Kelso & Company in September 2022.

'Going to market as Bridgenext enables us to operate as a cohesive company rather than a group of highly impressive but independent organizations', says Castleman. He continues: 'We are now in the second half of digital transformation, and it is time to drive value and impact from the investments made in the first half. Companies can no longer afford to 'try things' and invest without clear returns. They must usher in a new era of progress and success - an Era of Digital Realization'.
