Gartner's Blood Joins CX Specialist Five9
California-based CX solutions firm Five9 has appointed former Gartner exec Steve Blood as Vice President of Market Intelligence and Evangelism, based in Europe.
Five9 is the provider of the Intelligent CX Platform, which helps clients engage with customers across their channel of choice, and provides insights and intelligence on contact centre performance and customer joutneys for managers.
Blood worked most recently as a VP and Analyst within Gartner's Sales & Customer Service practice, consulting on customer service technology for end users and buyers of mid, large and enterprise organisations on several continents. Earlier he worked in product marketing at Rockwell Electronic Commerce, responsible for marketing its next generation contact centre portfolio in EMEA; and before that he spent 10 years in the UK telecoms industry in product management, sales and technical support roles for BT, Mercury Communications and NTL. In his new role he will focus on building and developing Five9's positioning.
