MRA Completes Design of Certification
The Marketing Research Association (MRA) has completed the design of its Professional Researcher Certification program, scheduled for release in late January 2005. The program covers all US marketing and opinion research professionals from End User to Interviewer.
Individuals rather than companies can apply for the certificate, which recognises competency in a specific area of the profession. Both experience and education / training are measured, and the program includes a requirement for applicants to keep up with the latest development in their specific discipline.

Approved applicants will be permitted to use the program's logo on their Certification Card - design of this is now completed (see right).
The MRA is currently scheduling meetings within the next 45 days with other Associations in the profession, aimed at reviewing the program and getting feedback. The association's web site is online at www.mra-net.org
