PriceSpider Adds Customer Insights and Product Updates
In California, eCommerce solutions and consumer analytics provider PriceSpider has announced a number of upgrades to help brands build seamless omnichannel experiences. They include new data sharing and integration tools.
The company, established for more than twenty years, helps clients streamline the path to purchase and collect actionable insights about their products and customers. It bought pricing data specialist ORIS Intelligence for an undisclosed sum in 2019, and Amsterdam-based martech company HatchM in 2022.
The new upgrades aim to reduce lost sales and cart abandonment, automatically maintaining product listings and providing insights into the full customer journey for better decision-making. The software can now automatically pull information from the brand's web site and third-party sources, and populate any missing product information. Self-service tools are also available to allow brands to make their own quick hands-on adjustments.
A new data-sharing platform provides brands with their own dedicated, secure warehouse featuring direct query capabilities, API connectivity and native connectors; and gives them on-demand access to PriceSpider's proprietary data so they can gain a custom, holistic view of their omnichannel funnel and e-commerce presence. Data can also be integrated into clients' own business intelligence tools.
