New RAJAR Account Lead for RSMB
London-based audience researcher RSMB has appointed Alison Finch as Client Account Lead with responsibility for radio audience currency RAJAR, replacing Anne Robshaw who is leaving the company after seventeen years. RSMB is an independent company jointly owned by Kantar and Havas.
In the UK, RSMB is known as a supplier to TV audience body Barb - including its CFlight cross-platform reporting venture; to RAJAR; and to the IPA for its Touchpoints cross-media planning database.
Finch (pictured) will oversee the firm's work on RAJAR quality control, sampling, weighting, processing and reporting of the UK's radio listening. Her experience includes the oversight, operation and application of media research from roles as Client Services Director managing day-to-day operations at PAMCo; Client & Insight Director at the NRS, including operational oversight and liaison with research partners; Commercial & Operations Director at Bauer Radio London, where she ran the operational side of the business as well as business delivery and commercial development; and at Capital Radio (now known as Global).
Her expertise includes adapting industry currencies to meet the rapidly changing media landscape; managing the smooth day to day operation of industry measurement data; collaborating with a range of media owners, suppliers, and partners; and marketing, business development and resource optimisation. She joins as RSMB celebrates a two-year extension to its RAJAR contract, the start of a new six-year Barb contract and the live launch of its methodology for Barb's CFlight trading audiences. It also says it is 'planning launches for several new products and services'.
Chief Executive Chris Mundy comments: 'Alison has a wide range of skills and brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Having worked at the NRS and then PAMCo, she has experience in delivering smooth operation of industry currency and having worked previously at Bauer and Capital she understands how audience data is used by the business. She also brings expertise in media owner commercial operations which will be extremely helpful as we continue to develop our services'.
