Nielsen Hires Chief Engineering Officer

Anil Goel has joined Nielsen as Chief Engineering Officer, leading its technology and engineering teams to drive product innovation and advanced technology adoption. He is based in Bengaluru, India and will report to CEO Karthik Rao.

Goel brings more than two decades of experience in building technology products and infrastructure to drive revenue growth, leading technology teams as CTO for the Customer Returns business at Amazon, and most recently heading up technology strategy, architecture, development and operations at global ed tech company Byju's Group.

In his new role he will work in close partnership with Nielsen's product teams, driving adoption of automation and AI at an accelerated rate.
