Ipsos UU Creates 'Champion' Roles Including AI and UXR

Ipsos has announced senior role extensions for five employees in its qualitative division Ipsos UU, in India, as it gears up for product launches and 'ambitious growth targets'. The five are Sapna Parmar, Neha Dutta, Shelly Jain, Geetika Singh and Ashwini Sirsikar.

Parmar is already Research Director, Ipsos UU India, servicing some of the largest accounts in the company's western cluster, and will add the role of UXR Champion, with a remit to build UX capabilities. Dutta and Jain are also Research Directors - the former adds the title of Product Testing Champion, charged with enhancing qual product testing capabilities across Ipsos' roster of clients in India, as well as developing new modules and best practices; the latter will now also serve as Simplification Champion, improving efficiencies within the company, building a respondent panel and focusing on internal processes to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround time.

Singh adds the role of Gen AI Champion to her existing work as country service line leader, in charge of the team's efforts to leverage Gen AI for building internal efficiencies, developing strong products with AI boosted workshops and Gen AI based curation. Sirsikar, who is group service line leader, Ipsos UU & Synthesio, will now also oversee all new initiatives and provide mentoring across Ipsos UU. Her role has also expanded to include pitching for large projects as a part of the core team and under the initiative Pitch to Win.

Amit Adarkar, CEO of Ipsos India says the enhancements are intended 'to strategically elevate and enhance the role of Ipsos UU in India, with its slew of added specialties and specialists, equipping clients for the future. In sync with our ambitious growth targets and enriching our repertoire of offerings for 2025, when Ipsos turns 50'. Siriskar says the changes are in part an effort to 'provide opportunities to our people to take on initiatives they feel passionately about'.
