Extreme Reach Adds Chief Growth Officer
In New York, marketing decision-making platform Extreme Reach has appointed former DISH Media exec Kevin Arrix as its Chief Growth Officer.
XR's platform promises to 'move creative and productions forward', pulling together and simplifying fragmented data to allow users to manage their assets and optimize ad spend. It also offers SpotlightXR, which 'reimagines' payroll, accounting, and residuals for the entertainment industry and commercial talent. Partnerships have included TVSquared in 2019, to help track ad impressions across streaming devices; and Nielsen on watermarking of linear TV commercials two years ago. The firm operates in 140 countries; has offices across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia; and in January appointed former TVSquared President Jo Kinsella as Global President of its storytelling platform SourceXR.
Arrix brings more than 25 years of experience and joins from DISH where he was SVP Media, overseeing the team responsible for driving ad revenue across DISH, Sling TV and Sling Freestream - including sales, operations, and all ad tech, data and measurement partnerships. Earlier in his career he worked at both large corporate and early-stage organizations - including Turner Broadcasting and MTV Networks - focusing on building and scaling ad revenue businesses.
In his new role he reports to Kinsella, and leads XR's global creative platform sales. Kinsella comments: 'Kevin is a strong leader with a breadth of industry experience in driving year-on-year growth. His seasoned career leading multi-function teams coupled with his strategic focus on driving growth across TV, digital, mobile by using data to drive business value will undoubtedly help us continue to drive our scale in the ecosystem to new heights'.
