New Firm Disrupt Hires Research Director
Former 2CV, GfK and Walnut Unlimited researcher Antonio Margaritelli has joined London agency Disrupt Insight as a Research Director.
Disrupt was set up seven months ago by former Walnut Unlimited execs Chris Bland and Matt Rice-Haynes, and focuses on making the most of research data, combining new research approaches and technology platforms, and providing clients with insights and strategic guidance based on best practice CX, comms and behavioural change. It has already recruited a former colleague from Walnut, in the form of Holliday Fitch-Peyton, a Director of the new firm since November.
Margaritelli (pictured) spent more than two and a half years as an SRE at GfK before joining Walnut in 2014 as a Research Manager working in the financial, innovation and neuro teams. In 2018 he left for a brief spell at Acacia Avenue, before joining 2CV where he has spent the last five years as an AD and RD.
Disrupt says it expects more hires 'in the coming months'. Co-founder Bland states: 'We are thrilled to welcome Antonio to our growing team of senior insight experts to keep up with our growing portfolio of clients. His diverse experience and dedication to research align seamlessly with our agency's ethos of challenging conventions and delivering exceptional insights'. Rice-Haynes adds: Antonio's background not only bolsters our current sector expertise but will continue to help us push the boundaries of the kind of disruptive innovation our clients have come to expect from us since our inception last year. We're very lucky to have him on board'.
