Disney's Sharma Leaves for Key Role at Sprinklr Insights
US-based customer experience software firm Sprinklr has appointed former Walt Disney exec Venke Sharma to a lead role driving its Sprinklr Insights product, which provides real-time consumer, competitor and market insights. He is based in Mumbai.
Sprinklr captures massive amounts of structured and unstructured data from customer engagements on more than thirty channels. In March, the firm announced full year 2023 revenue of $732.4m, up 18%, while more than doubling its non-GAAP operating income to $32.4m. Earlier this month it appointed Amitabh Misra as CTO.
Sharma (pictured) joins from The Walt Disney Company where he was the Executive Director of Consumer Strategy and Innovation. In eleven years at the entertainment company he helped to shape content, product and consumer experience, using insights from a wide range of sources; and at Disney's Star India Network he drove the launch of 'The Distillery', a platform designed to extract insights from millions of consumer data points. Earlier he spent ten years in advertising companies, including Omnicom subsidiary Tribal DDB Worldwide, Leo Burnett firm ARC Worldwide and then Leo Burnett itself where he was Executive Director and Head of Digital - Tech Advisor.
In his new role, reporting to Misra, he will be responsible for refining the product narrative for Sprinklr Insights and improving Go To Market strategy, simplifying implementation and driving adoption.
