Virtual Store Trials Adds Research Director
London-based retail testing tech firm Virtual Store Trials (VST) has appointed Jenny Hall as Research Director.
VST offers software products for shelf and pack testing, planogram visualization, and planogram data analytics. Its main markets are the UK, the rest of EMEA, and North America. The firm was founded in 2016 by former dunnhumby exec Nick Theodore, and has partnered with dunnhumby for more than five years. The company's flagship product, Smarter Shelf Testing, provides FMCG retailers and CPG brands with a platform to rapidly test shelf layouts, product changes, and retail media in proprietary virtual environments, in a short time frame (c.3 days).
Hall (pictured) brings fifteen years of experience in insights roles in the CPG, retail, and healthcare sectors. She joins from London-based customer research firm Insight Dojo, where she has spent the last seven and a half years, latterly as a Director. Prior to this she spent four and a half years apiece at Incite and JRA Research
CEO Nick Theodore comments: 'We are incredibly excited to have Jenny join us as part of our team of senior insight experts. As our CPG partners navigate the evolving retail landscape and strive for excellence in-store, Jenny's deep industry knowledge will play a pivotal role in helping them win with shoppers'.
