New MD for STRAT7 Jigsaw as Founders Move Roles
British firm STRAT7 Jigsaw has promoted Sarah McKee to the role of Managing Director, taking over the day-to-day running of the business from founders Ann Morgan and Sue Van Meeteren, who will move to focus on key accounts and improving collaboration between Jigsaw and other STRAT7 Group companies.
STRAT7 is a global strategic insight and customer analytics group, formed in 2019 and headquartered in London, with more than 400 people across 12 locations in Europe, the US and APAC.
The Group acquired MR agency Jigsaw twenty months ago, adding expertise in understanding human behaviour, including conscious and non-conscious drivers., for projects such as branding and advertising, NPD, customer needs and decision making, and market opportunity.
McKee (pictured) began her career with seven years at Research International Specialist Units, before joining Jigsaw in 1999. She will now report directly to Group CEO Barrie Brien, and is tasked with continuing to grow the business, particularly in the key sectors of finance, technology and media, retail and life sciences - and expanding its US presence. At the Group level she will co-lead on one of STRAT7's biggest cross-disciplinary accounts; and she will work closely with STRAT7.ai, whose role includes integrating Jigsaw's WhyCatcher agile research tool across the business.
Co-founder Van Meeteren notes: 'Sarah embodies all the characteristics that have made Jigsaw the successful business it is today. Alongside the brilliant relationships she's established with clients, she has huge credibility within Jigsaw and across STRAT7 Group more broadly. We really couldn't ask for a better MD'. Morgan adds: 'Sarah was the first to join us 25 years ago. She put her trust in us when the business was in its infancy, so this is an incredibly satisfying, full circle moment. We couldn't be happier to place our trust back in Sarah to carry the business forward and she is already doing a terrific job'. McKee herself says she sees 'huge opportunities for Jigsaw within the context of STRAT7's global outlook and ambitions'.
