Former MB Director to Head Up TNS Down Under
TNS has appointed Stephen Jenke as the new Regional Director of Australia and New Zealand, replacing Trevor Richards who returns to TNS Head Office in London to take up a new role.
Jenke joins on 10th January 2005 and will be a member of TNS' Asia Pacific Operating Board. He will be based in Pyrmont, Sydney and will report to James Hall, MD of Asia Pacific.
He has worked in the industry since the early 1980s, holding several senior management roles with Yann Campbell Hoare Wheeler from 1986 to 1997 including General Manager, Sydney and National Director of Operations, before its acquisition by Millward Brown. He worked for MB for six years, half as UK-based Executive Head of its International operation and half back in Australia as Asia Pacific Director of Operations.
He left Millward Brown in 2003 to form Information Research Management, focusing on supporting various MR licensed software platforms across Asia Pacific, and has recently worked as a consultant to TNS undertaking operational reviews in China and Thailand. He was also involved in setting up Industry based Quality Assurances schemes - IQCA and more recently MR4752 Quality Assurance Standards for Australia.
