CMB Parent ITA Group Buys for Australian Presence

Engagement specialist ITA Group, the parent of US research agency Chadwick Martin Bailey (CMB), has acquired Sydney-based firm Performance Incentives, giving it a presence in Australia.

Brent Vander Waal and Mari KauppinenITA, which acquired Boston-based CMB in October 2017, provides a wide range of engagement solutions, including events, incentives, recognition, research and learning, to help client organisations inspire and motivate their employees, channel partners and customers. The company says the new base will offer new and existing clients a strengthened global perspective on engagement programs, with informed cultural insights and sensitivity; in-region, local program management throughout Australia and New Zealand; enhanced global technology, communications and award capabilities; and access to a strong network of Australian support partners.

Performance Incentives was founded in 2001 and provides channel sales incentive and incentive travel solutions for clients in the automotive, financial services and heavy equipment industries.

ITA's President and CEO Brent Vander Waal (pictured left) says the two firms are 'culturally aligned' and adds: 'Over the past seven years, ITA Group has expanded our services globally through acquisition and partnership to deliver solutions and services in geographies that allow our clients and their customers to grow'.
