BEESY Grows Team Again

In New Jersey, applied behavioral science insights agency BEESY has appointed Kari Terzino as Research Principal and Shelby Walia as a Behavioral Associate.

Kari Terzino and Shelby WaliaBEESY was founded six years ago this week by former Ipsos Marketing US CEO Elys Roberts. The firm helps healthcare and biopharma companies to understand and impact customer decision-making and behavior. Ten days ago it launched a custom-built AI analysis model called SAM (System-1 Analytics Model).

Terzino (pictured top) joins with more than fourteen years' experience in insights roles, including more than eight in the life sciences industry, with an especially deep understanding of oncology and qualitative research. She joins after a brief spell as a Director for BASIS Health, following three years at ZS Associates - latterly as a Senior Qualitative Research Lead. Earlier she worked for four years at insights firm Shapiro + Raj, and then for six at Root Inc., a part of Accenture. She holds a PhD and MS in social psychology and statistics from Iowa State University, and a BA in psychological sciences from Purdue University.

Walia (pictured below) worked as a Senior Associate at Cloudmed, helping clients manage healthcare revenue cycles and in the process building an understanding of the different stakeholders in the healthcare system. She holds a Masters in Behavioral and Decision Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology, and French, from Emory University, in Atlanta.
