BlueConic CEO Joins Forrester Board
In the US, tech consulting and research firm Forrester has appointed former employee Cory Munchbach, now CEO of customer data platform BlueConic, to its Board.
Munchbach (pictured) worked at Forrester as an Analyst before joining BlueConic, focused on business and consumer technology trends and on marketing tech, and her writing has been featured in publications from Ad Age and The Drum to the Financial Times, Forbes and Wired. A lifelong resident of Boston, she holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Boston College.
Forrester Chairman and CEO George F. Colony says Munchbach has been 'a proponent of building scientific marketing approaches focused on acquiring net new customers and retaining existing ones'. He adds: 'Given Forrester's expertise in serving B2B marketing, sales, and product leaders, Cory's background will be an important asset on the board. In addition, her operational experience as a Chief Executive Officer will help Forrester continue to bolster its Forrester Decisions portfolio and accelerate its go-to-market strategy'. Munchbach herself says she is 'thrilled to bring my experience in the world of customer data, customer experience, and all things marketing technology to bear as Forrester continues leading the way in the customer-obsessed insights and solutions that companies need to be bold at work'.
Forrester's board now includes eight directors, of whom seven are independent. Web site: www.forrester.com .
