Observer Buys Delahaye
Bacon's Information, a division of Swedish-based Observer Group, has acquired the operations of Delahaye, a PR-focused media evaluation and consulting services firm with offices in the USA and UK, from Medialink Worldwide Incorporated.
Delahaye, whose annual sales amount to $9m, appears in Observer Group's accounts from the turn of the year.
Observer CEO Robert Lundberg says the acquisition strengthens Observer's offer of analysis and evaluation services, giving existing clients access to a number of high end analytic services and applications. In addition, Lundberg sees 'great opportunities to increase sales of current Observer services to the clients of Delahaye'.
Delahaye President Mark Weiner says its clients will get 'the same quality deliverables and the same tried-and-true Delahaye methodology - except with greater access to content and content-related services through Bacon's comprehensive media monitoring services'.
