Former Tableau and Vimeo Marketer is New Qualtrics CMO
Experience management company Qualtrics has hired Lynn Girotto as Chief Marketing Officer. She previously held the same title at video platform Vimeo, and earlier worked in senior marketing roles at Microsoft, Starbucks, Tableau and Getty Images.
Based in Provo, UT and Seattle, Qualtrics began life as an online survey software firm but these days focuses on experience management (XM) in four categories: customer, employee, brand and product experience. Clients use its platform to optimise experiences and build deep relationships with their customers and employees; to identify and resolve friction points, retain and engage talent, and bring the right products and services to market.
Girotto (pictured) has more than 25 years of experience in senior marketing roles at leading tech and consumer brands. A current member of the Board at Upwave, she joins from Vimeo where she spent two years as CMO, working to differentiate the company via superior customer experience - and before that held the same title at Amperity and Heap. In the 2010s she spent two years as a marketing leader at Starbucks, two at Getty Images and four at Tableau Software, now part of Salesforce; and from 2002 to 2011 she was a Senior Director of Marketing for Microsoft's Bing.
In her new role she will lead Qualtrics' global marketing organization, including brand, communications, demand generation, field marketing, product marketing, and pricing and packaging.
