Mustard's Hickson is New Sales Lead for Cxoice
In the UK, marketing insights provider dobney.com has appointed former Mustard Research exec David Hickson as Business Development Manager for its end-to-end survey platform Cxoice Insight Systems.
Hickson (pictured) will lead sales for Cxoice, which celebrates its tenth birthday later this year and covers the research process from questionnaire design through web and telephone surveys to live data presentations. The platform evolved from a set of tools the company says it developed to make more realistic and more visual questionnaires and to 'solve problems with showing things to people'. It includes web-assisted telephone interviewing for B2B, web-overlay surveys and tools for managing preferences around more visual stimulus, in addition to more traditional question types. Web overlay features allow users to add ratings and preferences to a live web site to get real opinions from customers on the spot; while instant tabs and presentations mean a presentation can be ready within 15 minutes of completing a field stage.
Hickson has worked for Manchester-based Mustard Research for the last seven years as an Account Director, and previously spent eight years at the firm between 1996 and 2004, when it was known as Ci Research. In between he worked as a consultant, then for five years at Heawood Research and five at Revelation Market Research.
Owner Sual Dobney says of the new arrival: 'David brings a wealth of research experience and enthusiasm for making research more fun, as we look to roll out Cxoice across the market research, CX and UX communities'.
