Zendesk Backs Product Feedback Platform unitQ
In the US, customer feedback platform unitQ has received an unspecified amount of investment from Zendesk Ventures, the investment arm of CX company Zendesk and a unitQ client.
unitQ's Monitor platform aggregates customer feedback from dozens of different sources and groups it into categories to help identify causes of customer friction, allowing clients to build better products, services and experiences, and benchmark product quality against that of competitors. Sources include app reviews and social media; private sources like support tickets, support chats and surveys; and others via the firm's unitQ API. Three years ago the firm raised $30m in a Series B round of funding.
The Zendesk deal also gives unitQ access to Zendesk Ventures' CX and AI experts
Christian Wiklund (pictured), unitQ co-founder and CEO comments: 'We've experienced the power of Zendesk's community first-hand and are excited to explore joint go-to-market efforts with Zendesk's ecosystem of customers, technology partners and evangelists... We've gained more than just funding - we're now connected to a community and receive tailored mentorship to help our company's growth'.
unitQ is headquartered in Burlingame, California and is online at www.unitq.com . Zendesk's home page is at www.zendesk.com .
