Funds for Data Conversion and Integration Firm OmniAI

Data integration company OmniAI has secured $3.2m in seed funding for development of its solutions, which help companies convert unstructured data to a usable format and deploy AI applications on their own infrastructure.

The start-up, backed by investment and support program Y Combinator, was founded by engineers Anna Pojawis and Tyler Maran, with the aim of helping companies overcome technical and security hurdles and make full use of their data - industries like healthcare and finance are key targets, given the complexity of regulatory requirements.

OmniAI integrates with data storage services and databases like Snowflake and MongoDB, preprocessing data to make it compatible with analytics tools and AI models - all within its own cloud or on-prem environment, ensuring enhanced security and compliance.

The seed round was led by FundersClub and values OmniAI at around $30 million. The company is aiming for annual recurring revenue of $1 million by 2025 and is online at www.getomni.ai .
