New Name and Investor for Research Illuminous
Research Illuminous, a North American provider of market research, online survey programming and sampling, has been 'acquired and partnered' by an angel investor, and rebranded as Agilent Insights.
With headquarters in Portland, Oregon and Gurgaon, India, the company now has proprietary panels in 32 countries around the globe, including the US, Canada, Europe's big 5 economies, Hong-Kong, India, China and Japan - totalling around 1.8m members. Director and Partner Aditya Mukerjee (pictured) is a former Managing Partner of Lucid and before that divided nine years between Greenfield Online, Toluna and Critical Mix.
The owners say the new identity 'better reflects who we are today and where we're headed in the future', while the new investors will allow the firm to 'further innovate, expand, and better serve our customers'.
